Do Most Christians read simple words and do not know the definition of them? Like here’s one “Anti” .

When I listen to my brothers and sisters speak and talk about things, it seems like they do not understand certain word meaning. But sometimes, but not often, someone will say, I don’t understand that meaning. Which is good, but right here I am speaking about words that are kinda common.

example: Ordain, anti, Sovereign, holiness of God, agape love, benevolent love, grace, common grace, saving grace, trust, faith in God, peace of God, peace that the world gives, some of these words are “Biblical terms” and I think the enemy has us running past them quickly! I hope I am making sense.

the reason why I approached this is because of what I am hearing.
All the complaints I am hearing about the “Institutional church” is that they are “Anti- Bible” now if they are “Anti-Bible”, they are “Anti-Word of God” and if they are “Anti-Word of God” then they are truly, “Anti-Christ”! Probably because the bible gives no permission to churches to use the Lords money to fund institutions. So people will say if they disregard the bible in this matter, then they clearly disregard Christs (the word) teachings.

Many Christians don’t really know what the word “LORD GOD” means in the Bible. Neither what the word “Sovereign GOD” in the Bible really means. I know the world does not really know what that means. But it is sad that most Christians don’t either. By their mouths and lips they know! Even some of those who has the “Holy Spirit “ really don’t know what those words really means. You can tell by what they say. It is sad, because the “LORD GOD” has so much to show you, that cannot be uttered by “humans words” pertaining to things to come, that has already been revealed in”Holy Scripture “.

Would the correct term be “some”? Instead of “most”. I did say “ many” I don’t think I said, all. Because I have known a lot, and many have appreciate it , that I pointed it out to them. And many of classes that I have taught, even in your state of Texas. The young and old, , that I have pointed out, the simple-ness that GOD has provided for them to understand the “Holy Scripture” that they may know “The Father” through His “Son”. That they need “No man or woman” to teach them. For over 40 years of teaching and lecturing not only to lay people but also “pastors”! “Ministers” and “Theologians” . Groups. They didn’t mind me using the terms that has offended you.
My school of thought has always been, I can not teach anyone about God or Jesus, I just try to “point them in the right direction” I am just a pointer. This I have presented to black, white , Jewish, Muslims, Hispanic,, Chaldeans and Roman Catholic’s. But maybe I am just getting old in my retirement age. The Unique thing about this , I never wanted to do “any of it”! I never wanted to lecturing never wanted to instruct.. I cried a many of Days, please Lord, I do not want to do this! Quietly speaking, I don’t want to be on here. LOL! But down through years I have learn by things in which I have suffered. “The greater the suffering the brighter the light”. “And I got plenty of wounds on my heart” and sometimes my joy, is so full, I tell the “Lord” it is to much! Please turn it down, I cannot take it. “So if you feel like casting stones at me go ahead throw another”! But make sure you throw it in the name of Jesus! Because it hurts a lot more.

Kind of ironic that you've shared that a person doesn't really need other men to teach them, but you have been around a lot doing just that. But that you really Don't want to be doing that. Thanks for sharing.

The Holy Spirit is indeed our teacher -- and He Also gives each believer a spiritual gift upon their salvation. One of these is of pastor/teacher. Ephesians 4:11 ,12 "And He, Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. ...... vs 15 "but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the Head -- Christ...

Also in Romans 12: 6 "Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: If prophesy..... or ministry.... exhorts....giving,,,,,leading,,,,,showing mercy with cheerfulness....... brotherly love........ serving the Lord

A body of local believers usually meet in a building of some sort. Gifts of administration for instance // pastors , teachers , edifying the body of Christ.

There are qualifications For pastors/ bishops given in Timothy and Titus. Those are local church leadership positions -- as are deacons. And that's how we know that there are to Be local church groups.

And we Are to meet together as a local body on a regular basis -- like every week. We are to be taking one day a week to set aside For worship.

But we are living in the great falling away from the word of God. Look what happen to the 7 churches in Asia-minor, and the church at “Ephesus” and look what happen to the church in “Galatia” the churches in that “Roman Province” (Antioch, Iconium, Lystra, and Derbe). It is the leaders of churches that has lead the “ the lords Congregation” astray, not the world! scripture testify’s to this truth. (Ezekiel 34). Read it.

Real Christians are leaving ! Too much Anti-Christ, Anti-Bible. Too much greed!! To many biblical lies are being taught. Especially that “tithe lie”!

Church is what a person makes it to be. There are lots of churches that are very Godly. People can use their spiritual gifts / people are being saved. / mission groups are going out to various areas.

A person see the glass half Empty or half Full. Perspective.

And there will always be churches that close their doors for various reasons.

As long as there are people who go to churches, there Will be problems. But there should Also be growth taking place.

All of us are responsible to some extent for the condition of churches in these days. Are we trying to be a positive person or letting negativity get hold of us.

Tithing is supposed to be at least a 10th of a person's income. Given willingly / Cheerfully.

Jesus, not once commanded the things you are addressing. But the institutional man made church has. And GOD has never commanded or the WORD of GOD for. A Christian to Tithe! Out of all the Christian churches in the whole world knows that tithes are not for the Christian churches except for some people in the United States of america. That is the 1st sign you know to run from a false doctrine institutional church! If they got that wrong! Run, run for your life run! That is false teaching and a little leaven will pollute the whole lump. If you have read the whole bible from front to back at least like “book” it is plain as the Sun raises in the East and sets in the west. That is a serious crime! But if a person wants to pay 10% , 20% or 50% that is their business. More power to them, but telling people, the Bible acquirer you to tithe, it is not the truth. And you are right a church is what people makes it to be, but Godly, there is only one and only one Godly church and it is not made with the hands of men or women, there is not a such a thing as a Godly institutional church. “Teaching the doctrine of man for the commandments of God”.
I know it is not your fault, it has been the ones that lead you” and taught you. It is so devastating to hear should a reality that I have spoken. And most likely it will produce such angry and discontent with me . But the truth is in the book no matter which way you go, you will find I am right concerning the tithe. Depends on if your search is for the truth and not to defend your local church institution. Note: I am not against what you pay in your church, that is your right, but the Bible does not require any tithe from you. “ Give anyway as you please without any type of guilt. For God loves a cheerful giver. Pay your bills 1st, and take care of your families, God is so please in that.

As a member of the body of Christ I AM THE CHURCH, just as you if you are a member of the same body. Paul never said how often we should assemble ourselves together,
but did say do not forsake it. Are we not in some small way assembling right here to teach and exhort one another daily?

I want to use scripture to clear the tithe issue. It's found in Hebrews 7:11-14 "If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the Law,)
what further need was there that another priest should arise after the order of Melchizedek, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
FOR THE PRIESTHOOD BEING CHANGED THERE IS MADE OF NECESSITY A CHANGE ALSO OF THE LAW. For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. For it is evident that our Lord sprang out OF JUDAH......"

lets be as clear as we can. Under Levitical law the priests from the tribe of Levi were to collect tithes of the other 11 tribes in Israel. When Jesus became the new high priest
tithing ended. 1) Because he sprang from the tribe of JUDAH which the law never said anything about tithing to a priest from that tribe.
2) Show me a Levite that stands in the pulpit and commands that the Law of works is still in effect and I will show you a wolf in sheeps clothing.
A) The Levitical priesthood ended the moment Jesus died.
B) Are you of the other 11 tribes or a gentile? matters not because of A.

We should have a discussion on the Greek words LOGOS and RHEMA, both are translated in the English Bible translations as WORD or WORDS. With logos also meaning "plan", "reason" i.e. WHY he is doing what he did and continues to do. Rhema; lit. means an "utterance" or "thing said." Gods personal SPOKEN word for you.

As an example the written WORD of God we call the Bible, it is the Greek word LOGOS. If you consider everything in the old and new testaments the entire Bible gives
us insight into who and what God is and what his plan was/is for mankind. Therefore God gave us his logos(written word to understand his reason) so we could know his intent.

Another thing I notice, is when some Christians use the word “Doctrine”. They will say something like this, “ Well the doctrine of predestination” is false, or “The Doctrine of Election [unconditional]. Is wrong......etc. Then when you hear them talk or write about it, you can tell “they have never even read the “documented statement”. They just read a clip of what someone else said the doctrine said or what the doctrine meant. They never read the argumentative statement, and how the “Doctrine” arrive to it’s conclusion. It amazes me. This day and time, you do not have to go, to a “Theological “ Seminary” you can go straight to the original document. Online. Read the arguments see how they arrive to such conclusions and why they had to have the arguments! Don”t take the word of some, “Jack Leg” or “Pelagian” or “Semi- Pelagian” or “Arminianism” ,or “Hyper-Calvinistic” convert. Meaning: the person just have part time information and projecting it out as if they have full time information.
When you use the term: “The Doctrine of ...Etc.” Make sure you read the original document and the original arguments and how it arrive to its conclusion. Then you can express your discontentment in a favourable way.
Because it is getting real bad in the “America’s” concerning sound doctrine. It is real bad, people teaching things about “Holy Scripture “ they no nothing about neither have they took the time to address the things they have heard or read. “But “The Reformers” knew this would happen,, and the danger it would cause by putting “The Holy Bible” in the common people’s language, that this would happen. But they thought and knew it was necessary ,in order to get the Word of God unto faithful hands because if it was completely left up to the “Clergy” we would never get the truth, only “Whitewash” and “untempered mortar“.

Then there is the whole Bible.

Now if Im cooking and I cherry pick the ingredients, the method and the cooking instructions then the recipe is going to fail. Of course (just like the Bible) the results can be candy coated to make them look and taste good. Just like modern day watered down Christianity.

So....a word in the Bible is meaningless unless the whole context is considered.

We are blessed to be able to pray and to seek the guiidance of the Holy Spirit in leading us to understanding

We may also know sound Godly brothers and sisters who are able to teach and lead. But the original source of all truth is found in the Lord.
