Based off Hebrews 3:7-14
Do you hear Him calling to you?
Do you hear Him say,
“Forsake your sins, follow Jesus,
Do without delay”?
Do you hear His warnings to you?
Do you hear Him tell,
“If you harden hearts against Me
You’ll end up in hell”?
“Do not try Me like the others,
Thinking I will not
Follow through with what I promised
If you Me forgot.
“I was angry with those people,
Thought they’d not obey,
And that I would not them notice,
Hearts now gone astray.
“Even though they knew commandments,
Obey not, they’d do,
My ways they, in truth, rejected,
Faith they not renew.
“Don’t be like them, don’t be evil,
Stay with Me, be true,
One another exhort daily,
Stick with Me like glue.
“Love Me truly, not unruly,
Hear My voice today,
Follow Me where’er I lead you,
And not Me betray.”
