Ask Jesus to forgive you and save you from your sins. That's it. Unlike Christianity, other religions, philosophies, self-help systems and other rubbish within the trash heap of human history, Jesus says: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
It is unwise to view reading the Bible as a religious requirement and worse, to view Jesus as a religion. It is even more unwise to confuse Jesus with Christianity. It is very wise however, to read the Bible and, to read a chapter in the New Testament every morning. Jesus says, if we remain in his word, we will know the truth and the truth will make us free; and if he makes us free, we will be "free indeed" John 8:31-36.
NOTE: If you don't believe you are a sinner, try doing what you think is good all of the time and, see how well you do. If you think you are better than other people or most or some other people or, if you don't believe "all we like sheep have gone astray," check out this Video.
