A woman went to doctors the office. She was seen by one of the new doctors, but after about 4 minutes in the examination room, she burst out, screaming as she ran down the hall. An older doctor stopped and asked her what the problem was, and she explained. He had her sit down and relax in another room.

The older doctor marched back to the first and demanded, "What's the matter with you? Mrs. Terry is 63 years old, she has four grown children and seven grandchildren, and you told her she was pregnant?"

The new doctor smiled smugly as he continued to write on his clipboard.

"Cured her hiccups though, didn't it?"

I hope its ok tell a funny story on your joke board. A few months ago our childrens church put on a skit that takes place in a doctors office.
On the sign it stated Welcome to the office of Dr. Jesus please have a seat in our waiting room. The first patient (played by my son) comes in with a bad case of the hiccups, He takes a seat. Not long later a young girl comes in with a twitchy eye, she sits by my son and shortly jumps up and screams "Im cured" and praises God and leaves the room. My son however, developes her twitch. later another patient comes in with a limp, again shortly after he screams "Im cured' praises God and leaves the room. Again my son developes the limp. Now he is limping, twitching and he has the hiccups. Now to tell you if you havent guessed the skit was supposed to be about how Jesus will work on your problems for you and often if you have faith in Our Lord Jesus he will take away your afflictions.
Now to finish the story My son who is limping twitching and has the hiccups, and looking very adorable I might add is getting kind of irritated. And just as he is about to be called into the office, in walkes a young lady who has no afflictions other than she is very pregnant. My sons runs screaming, twitching, limping, and hiccuping from the room.

Sometimes Reality Happens

A-hem! I'm not 63, but I was 44 when my pregnancy test came back positive. It was 2 a.m. It turned blue right away and made a sign that looked like a plus sign. But I still didn't believe it. I called the 1-800 number on the pregnancy test box over and over but they just had a recording that they'd be open after 8 a.m.
So I called my husband's grown daughter. "I'm pregnant!" I announced to her at 4 o'clock in the morning. "Who is this?" she replied groggily.
That same day, I took my daughter to school and went on to my own classes at the college. I still did not really believe I was pregnant. But just to make sure, I went to the health clinic on campus. "Oh, yes, you're pregnant," said the nurse practitioner with a smile.
And today I am blessed with a beautiful baby boy. He is 6 months old and has just gotten his first tooth. And I'm 45 years old now! My husband is 55 and also very proud of our son. Children are a blessing....even in old age.

That's a wonderful story Dreamer! And your's is true.
I love the jokes too especially the second one how the boy runs from the room when the pregnant lady comes in. LOL!
