While God was here in the form of Jesus Christ -- 2nd person of the Godhead -- He could Not be omnipresent -- which is why He (Jesus Christ) Needed to ascend back up to heaven, so that the Holy Spirit Could come to indwell each believer from then on in history.

His physical body died on the cross and rose again bodily the 3rd day.

Yes. Jesus has a resurrected physical body.

Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Here, Luke records Jesus saying that He is not only a spirit, as ''a spirit does not have flesh and bones as He had''.

John 2:19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days''.

Here we see Jesus speaking to raising His body / temple from death. Evidence of the trinity and the fact that His temple / body remains in tact.

God the Father -- 3rd part of the trinity / Godhead / does not have a physical body. Jesus Christ His Son / 2nd part of the God head -- was the part that came to this world in the form of a baby into the Jewish culture. He was God incarnate / in the flesh.
