Does God Speak to Us?

On the month of Holygost, i was about going to the church for the Holygost service, so i was taking a walk before the time though i was looking for something, and at the sametime thinking about the work of Holygost surdenly i saw a man and something tells me tell him that God loves him, but i could'nt because i was thinking it's just and imagination of my head so i did not, and after all i did not see what i went to lookout for..........
I need to know could this be the word of the Holyspirit............ ?

I think that that was definitely God speaking to you to pass His blessing on to that other person. But, don't worry. God made sure that the man was blessed, even though you didn't get the blessing of being part of it.

I think that incident is a sign of something God wants to do through you. By the way, welcome to TalkJesus. I think you are going to be blessed here.

God does speak to us. He speaks to us in many ways, dreams, visions, conscience, etc...... God speaks to us because He loves us and wants to bless us.

Continue to share what the Lord is doing in your life. Many awesome places to visit and learn and grow.

As said by others already, Yes the good Lord does prompt us in many ways. His direct voice, through dreams and visions, even guiding our eyes to see what many don't.

He is looking for obedience.

He is also helping you and I along our path of growing in Him. As we become obedient with the small things, He give us more along the way.

I also have hesitated and sure enough He either used the person beside me or others. Sometimes I don't know if I was that persons last chance or maybe I wasn't the one to talk to them?

I now tend to act on His leading and then get the blessing of seeing our God at work in others lives.

Continue to pray brother for His divine guidance. Along with praying for knowing His voice above the enemies voice.
