...from someone you asked out?

I just got shot down today (from college) but thankfully, I kinda handled it well (took it like a man; my first time by the way)...until I came home, watched 'That 70s show' and whenever I laughed at it, I feel like there is a knife in my chest. I know it is because of my subconscious anguish, and it kinda mixed up with my sense of humor.

So it's pretty much why I need help finding a good Bible passage to read in order to keep me in line as well as others facing the same predicament as mine.

aw..sorry man
but i have never really thought bout it...i dont think i have come across anything that speaks bout rejections..i will have a look

(Psalms 42:11) Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

(2 Corinthians 4:8-10) We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

(2 Corinthians 4:16-18) For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
