The dishonest are calling out dishonesty in others.
The liars are calling out the other liars,
As though they, themselves, are not among the liars.
The corrupt and the disrupters are calling out
The others who are corrupt and who disrupt society.
So this is like “the pot calling the kettle black,”
i.e. It is those who have particular faults
Accusing others of having the same faults,
But without recognizing themselves as
Also those with the same exact faults.
So the corrupt, the liars, and the dishonest
Are now in the process of determining who are
The corrupt, the liars, and the dishonest,
So that they can remove them from being so,
But while they continue in their own corruption.
But who is the only one to determine who is corrupt?
Who is the only one to decide who is a liar?
Who wrote the book on corruption and
On what to do about it, and how to solve it?
There is only One, and His name is God.
Now some people might say we are all liars
Because we are all born into this world in sin.
But if we have died to sin, and we are now walking
In obedience to our Lord in holy living, then lying,
corruption, and immorality should not be our practice.
This doesn’t make us perfect people, but
By the grace of God we can be delivered from
Our addictions to sin so that we can now live
Morally pure, upright, and honest lifestyles
To the glory and praise of God, by his grace.
But if we are not living morally pure lives,
And if our practice is not to obey our Lord,
And if we know we are living morally corrupt lives,
Then we have no right to judge others
Who are also living morally corrupt lives.
