Dying in peace

We are strong when we realize that we are weak, because, when we realize that we are the weak, we are more likely to accept our dependence on God and give control of our life to Him. When we give control of our life to God, by unconditionally accepting His will in matters of our daily life, we become very strong; because, God has infinite power. At the time of death, we are absolutely helpless and no human being can help us. Many people therefore, turn to God and give Him total control of their lives. Those who do this, experience complete peace, because, by surrendering their lives to God, they allow His spirit to completely fill their hearts. This enables them to empty themselves of anger, hate, jealousy, revengeful thought, lust, and all forms of selfishness and worldly attachments.

In other words, less focus on self and more focus on God enables power. For, if we were to focus on ourselves -- we'd crumble into nothing but a confusing mess. When we are in him, it is through him that strength is gained.

The Lord is the organizer, counsellor and strength of life.

"But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." - 2 Corinthians 12:9

Amen. Why try by ourselves when our Jesus Christ can do it all for us in GOD's infinite power?

That's a lesson I learned, give it all at the foot of the cross - faithfully.
