My niece Emily tried to commit suicide last night. She must have been feeling terribly depressed, please pray for her to know the Love of Jesus to fill the emptiness in her heart she is feeling now.

Heavenly Father we come against the principalities, and powers in the heavenly places, and command them to stop their assault on Emily. We bind the spirit of death, and bind these evil wicked spirits from speaking lies to her mind that there is no hope in this life. I bind that lying deceiving spirit from her and all her family in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank you father for for staying the evil one from causing harm to her. Thank you Father for the Spirit of wisdom, and revelation, counsel, might, faith and understanding that you have given her, by enlightening the eyes of her heart. In Jesus name.

Greetings,

thank you for sharing this need with us.

Are there other Christian men in the family besides yourself? Emily's dad? Brother? Grand Dad?
Shall be praying,

Bless you ....><>

If Emily's dad is a christian, he is a closet one. I assume he is either agnostic or atheist. He has allowed some church time for his children in the past as a part of their schooling, her brother has some faith, but a very immature one. She is at a mental hospital now, with them trying to understand her reasons, and she wont be released till they think her mindset is better. Her mother also has an immature faith, but at least she has already decided some changes that will help some, but Emily really just needs prayer that she know the Love of God.

Greetings,

yes.
A sure remedy for all.

Grace and Peace to you and yours, Brad.

Bless you ....><>

Dear brother @Brad Huber

I am sorry to hear about your niece Emily....it must be a very stressful time for you and the family.
Firstly I thank and praise the Lord that she did not commit suicide...where there is still breath there is hope.

Continuing to pray for Emily, that her heart will be open to His voice and His love....Praying that He will put a new song into her heart and that He will lift her from the miry clay.

Thank You Lord.....we know You are abundantly able to rescue and save this troubled soul.

I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God:
Psalm 40 1-3

This is sad :-/.

Will remember her in my prayers. Yes, only the love of God can bring her out of that terrible pit.

Oh Lord, hear the prayers of your people. You are great and mighty God, come to her life and rescue with your awesome love. Draw her unto you Lord, and enable her to draw near unto you that she may live the life You came for, for those who will believe and are saved. Intervene for each and every member of the family. Surround them with your love, and joy and peace, until they come to know You more and more. Thank You Lord for your grace and mercy. We give you praise Father. In Jesus name. Amen

Blessings!

Brad,

Am praying for Emily and all that interact with her. Strikes close to my heart, and I KNOW that Jesus can get through all the lies and worldly things she is having to deal with. Please update as you feel you can.

In His Love,
Ellie

They will be releasing her from the mental hospital, despite her not coming forth with a legitimate reason for the act. The most she said was that a girlfriend of hers had left (her family moved away) the area and she missed her. But its more than that, we all know it.

Greetings @Brad Huber ,

thanks for the update. Please continue to update as you are able.

You said,

The most she said was that a girlfriend of hers had left (her family moved away) the area and she missed her.

Such a change can be a huge thing to young folk. Your niece needed the surety of the LORD before this even, as much as she does now.

Let us continue to pray for her, knowing that the LORD does love her. May you also have a word in season and may the LORD give you words and times to minister His grace to Emily.

I am reminded of

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. Proverbs 25:11

which I need to remember often. May such words be pour forth from your lips, Brad.

Bless you ....><>

There probably is a lot more things that are filling her with stress, but very well could be that her girlfriend moved. Perhaps the one girlfriend that understood her and accepted her. It can be hard to wrap your mind around things that seem so simple. But when you are in the midst of that perfect storm......well, you don't see anything but the storm. So glad she made it through. Prayers that she can be surrounded with people to help and build her up, and most of all that she begins to see at her young age just how loved by God she is. That He will always be there...never move away.

Greetings,

Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28

Bless you ....><>

She has come home to her family, though still not sharing a lot of what caused her to despair to the point of taking her life. Mind you, at that age, emotions are inflamed dramatically. She has to go to counselling, but not a christian counselor, and has 90% of her phone and computer privileges taken away. We are hoping that over time, she will share more, but currently she stubbornly refuses to share. God always gives us choice in our lives even if our choices hurt us more so, and she has chosen to not share her reasons. Will just have to keep her in prayer.
