Fear not, for I [am] with you; Be not dismayed, for I [am] your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.' Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
God offered the comforting words from today’s verse to the Jews who were in Babylonian exile. If you search for the phrase “fear thou not” or “fear not,” you’ll find it over and over again in the scriptures:
Prayer: Lord, when my circumstances threaten to overwhelm me, may I hear Your calming voice reminding me to fear not, for You are with me.
God offered the comforting words from today’s verse to the Jews who were in Babylonian exile. If you search for the phrase “fear thou not” or “fear not,” you’ll find it over and over again in the scriptures:
- “Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the Lord; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity” (Jeremiah 30:10 KJV)
- “But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son” (Luke 1:13KJV).
- “And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last” (‘revelation 1:17 KJV).
Prayer: Lord, when my circumstances threaten to overwhelm me, may I hear Your calming voice reminding me to fear not, for You are with me.
