I was told that people who like to fish, might not like heaven :)

Rev 21:1; Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.

Who told you that brother?

On earth I am a fisherman and a fisher of men, I want to see people get hooked on Jesus.

Your comment may not be right, cleverly put though, but scripture is right.

There will be no more seas, but there is definitely a river Rev 22:1 & 22:17

Maybe we don't need water in our glorious bodies? The sea is made up of H2O and salt, salt being a preservative is no longer needed.

Bless you

I do not believe that "sea" is referring to the oceans of the new heaven and earth. The "wicked" are known as a troubled sea, and we know there will be no unrighteous on the new heaven earth for there will be no more sea.
The Antichrist is spoken of as coming out of the sea, not the ocean literally, but from the wicked which seem to cover this earth as a sea.

Isa 57:20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Thank you brother, I agree totally, thanks for the scripture.

There was water at creation, there was water running through the Garden of Eden, I am sure there will be water on the resurrected New Earth which is made new.

What God created in the beginning He liked.

This was just meant to be a joke. :)

Ezek 47:10; "And it will come about that fishermen will stand beside it; from Engedi to Eneglaim there will be a place for the spreading of nets. Their fish will be according to their kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea, very many.

I understood it to be a joke brother.

My fishing rods etc are material items, they will not go through the purify fire at our Lord's return and when heaven and earth is restored and made new.

Yes, and what a great miracle we see here when the Dead Sea is healed and filled with fish. The Jordan River empties into the Dead Sea, but their is no outlet, so like the Great Salt Lake in Utah no fish can live there... but then:

"Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.
And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh." Ezek 47:8-9

When I read that and I was like... I'm gonna horde some water for my swimming pool.
