Forgive my fears, Lord

Most merciful God,

I know I'm not supposed to worry about the things of this world like food and clothing but I'm failing rather badly at that right now.

Unemployment runs out at the end of the week, the truck is leaking oil, and we've not heard from any of the people that wanted to see my husband's resume.

He's a good man Lord and he'll work hard at any job You provide to him, but we're having a terrible time just finding an opportunity to work. If there's somewhere specific he's supposed to be headed, he's not hearing the instructions.

Please let my husband get a decent job very soon. I know he's upset and worried and that he might not be talking to You right now Lord, but I ask You to forgive him for my sake and the kid's sake. He doesn't mean to be disrespectful, he's just scared.

If there's anything I should be doing to help him find work, guide me too Lord.

Thank You and Amen

Father You are our great provider and I pray that You will provide for Janette's family as You tell us in Your Word. Help them to put their trust in You at this time of waiting. Your timing is perfect and I pray that they will know that You are still in control. Help them to draw closer to You as they wait for the doors to open that You will lead them into. I pray that Janette will be able to hear clearly from You in Jesus' name and for His glory amen.

Glory to You Lord!

Dearest Heavenly Father,

My husband and I are greatful to You that his tests so far for this newest job prospect have gone well. Hearing that the placement firm wishes to proceed with presenting him to the client is very good news.

I pray to You to express adoration and faith and to ask You to continue to guide my husband to show them the qualities that the client is looking for in an employee.

We know his formal education is on the lower edge of what they want in a middle to senior level worker, but we also know that through You all things are possible. You have guided him to answer questions under harshly timed exam conditions. You have led him to the resources to further his education the entire time he's been unemployed. You have strengthened him to maintain his interest in this very competative career field when anyone else would have given up. You have been patient with both of us when our faith wavered. We are forever grateful to You.

From what *we* can see, this position would be a dream come true for him. It seems like the answer to many of our prayers.

However Father -- Thy will not ours be done.

As delightful as this job would be, if this is not the path You wish us to take, then let us humble ourselves to look elsewhere. We wish to do Your will, Father, not to seek after the first thing that "looks good."

Lest the devil tempt us with money and "security" in this life alone, protect and guide us so that we may make both productive and Godly choices.

Amen

Amen and amen to that beautiful prayer. God knows your heart and He will honour you both.

It is all about Him. Not about us. His timing is perfect too.

Thank you Jesus that you hear the prayers of Your people.

God bless  :rainbow: :rose:
