I have been through quite a bit in the last few months. And I would like to share with those who are going through struggles and times when the enemy is doing his best to keep you from the word of God.
When God has a calling for you the temptations and the trials will start to come. The enemy will do anything to ditract you. But I believe that the more you resist those temptations the easier it will be to get through them only by the grace of God.
I had a problem with forgiveness. I held onto something. But you know that isnt right. Someone who had hurt me very badly I didnt feel I could forgive. But then I really started to think about something. How many times have I hurt God? And how many of those times has he forgiven me? And I know I have done some very shameful things. But He has forgiven me. His forgiveness has washed me clean. So I know I need to forgive that individual.
Alot of us tend to hold onto the past. We constantly remeber the things weve done and dont feel we are good enough for God. BUt the past is the past. We cannot change it. So what do we do? Its a new day. We live for God. Study HIs word and live for Him. I wake up every morning thanking God that He loved me enough to allow me to wake up another day.
There is hope in the blood of Jesus! He tells us that He will never leave us or forsake us. I had pushed God away . In all honesty I had tried. But you know... I dont believe God would let his children give up. He will give us strength. He will draw our attention in amazing ways. How could you deny such great love and grace?
Stay in the word. Stay close to Him. He is an amazing Father.
