Freshening Up with GOD

What methods do you all take to keep your relationship and interest in GOD fresh?

I basically continue my great Sunday services and try to make it every Wednesday to bible study classes (summertime a little slow for me). I also try keeping this site active as possible (your help appreciated).

I pray everynight as well (I feel sour sometimes as I repeat everything almost robotically, lol). I mean I pray with all my humbleness and gratefulness. I thank GOD for all that is on my mind and pray for all that I can remember to pray for at the moment. I find it strange (not in a negative sense) how people pray for hours at a time (I don't mean freaks either, just strong faithful believers). I also know many who meditate for half hour or so.

I want to be able to do this so bad but my businesses online (2 of them) take up much time , plus this site. One of them is a 24/7 business that I opereate solely and very motivated to build up.

What do you all think of this and recommend? What are your methods of keeping things fresh?

well the scriptures tell us to remember our first love, what made you first fall in love with our Saviour ?

in the beginning you were hungry and thirsty for HIM, so you need to get back to the basics, back to that first new love,

,,, when you pray - ask HIM for it, tell HIM how you feel, and remember that HE is not just our Saviour, but HE is also our Father, and our best Friend, HE is the Friend that sticks closer than a brother, HE is always there for us, talk to HIM all through the day, while you work, while you do everything that you do , talk to HIM ! !

How do you talk to your best friend ? -- you tell him what is bothering you, you ask for his help , his advice,,, Right ?

Well who on earth could be a better Friend to you than our Saviour ???

And who on earth could be a better Father than our Heavenly Father YHWH !! ???

you can write these things down or print a copy , then look over it several times a day, until you have it firmly established in your heart,,, you could even stick a copy of it on your fridg,,, or on the wall next to your pc, or even on the wall in the bathroom<< a good place to stop and think about things..

Just remember that HE loves you with an everlasting love !!

And HE will always be there for you !!

I agree with One HEART for Jesus. some times when i feel like whats the use,i complain and i talk to our Lord and tell him how i feel and some how He will give me peace and i know that i am in His will.All so i like to sing praise songs as i do my house work are the yard. Iknow that the songs He gives me to sing is for Him because i dont remember the words i sang. Iknow it is sometimes hard to stand on Gods word that is where our faith in our Lord Jesus comes in, just knowing that Gods word is true,we can know that all things work togeather for those who loves the Lord.
