Did Jesus command us to share all we have & own among each other equally? If I remember, there's an account in the new testament that the first Christian's were heading in that direction.

Then that practice was abandoned for some reason.

Guess the revival stopped and selfishness kicked in.
Jesus didn't command it. They just did it, because they were revived. They didn't have to. Ananias could have kept it to himself. And first you read everyone had enough. Then after that, that the Greek widows were neglected. They also had good ppl to give it to the right ones. Then later you read that most didn't give Paul anything.
