GOD HAS BEEN SO GOOD TO US
God has been so good to us and am sure we can give up our worldly and fleshy desires to walk after the flesh (idolatry, fornication, lying, stealing, etc...). After all God has given up something so precious to Him, He gave up His only begotten Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth to come and die for our sins. The word declare “when we were yet sinners Christ died for the ungodly (Romans 5:8).” He died for you and me and am sure we can just live a life Holy and Pleasing to Him. No longer I live but Christ lives in me and whether I die or live I belonged to God. After all everything begins (Alpha) and end (Omega) with God. He is our Rock, our Shield and our Buckler, the Prince of Peace. We were made to give God glory so are you a vessel of honor or dishonor?
I have met some morally good people (don’t drink, fornicate, honest, etc…) out there in the world and they think in all of their goodness they don’t need a Savior. But we all need a Savior and His name is Jesus the name that is above every other name. If there was no shedding of His blood there would have not been remission of out sins. We were bought with a price and that cost was Jesus blood, He became the Lamb (sacrificial lamb) that was slain from the foundation of the world. Without Jesus dying we was going to a Godless hell but to get to the Father we have to go through the Son (Jesus Christ).
Faith without works is dead and works without faith is dead as well. Hebrews 11:6 says “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” We need to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ (God) not the one our pastor has with God but our own relationship first hand friendship with God, not just knowing of Him but knowing Him. When you know who God is then you know what your inheritance is because all the promises of God is “Yes” and we can proclaim “Amen (meaning so be it).” You are acceptable to God He is not a respecter of persons. He speaks to us and He desire you to be in relationship with Him. He want to talk to you but can you understand Him when He speaks. Only His sheep hear His voice and He know each of us by name. Do which voice are you listening to? YOU need to drown out the voice of the world and listen to you Savior speak to you.
We cannot serve two masters I done try that and fail miserably. Either you choose to love God or Hate Him. Or look at it this way choose holiness or hell. There is no in between with God there is a heaven and there is a hell. Do you recall in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus the rich man was in hell and Lazarus was in heaven they never made mention of an in between place cause there isn’t any. See we cannot walk after God knowing we want worldly pleasure it cannot go a fig tree will never bear grapes we want be grounded into two different types of soil but we are one seed.
Some people are going through the motions but nothing is happening because there heart isn’t in it. See “man sees the outward appearance but God searches the heart,” we can fool man but not God. Some of us is pregnant but no baby is growing inside we feel or the morning sickness, cravings and all sorts of the motion but not baby in the belly. That’s what many people are today they have a form of godliness but denying the power so they can talk the talk, but we have to walk it and live it.
Which one are you? Are you living the way Christ has ordained you to live or you just talking the talk (Speaking it)? As I said before faith without works is dead and works without faith is dead. Check yourself and analyze these questions truthfully.
