"that Your eyes may be open toward this temple day and night, toward the place where [You] said [You would] put Your name, that You may hear the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place. 2 Chronicles 6:20 NKJV

The way you worship may look a little different from the days of the temple, when the people turned toward the building regardless of their location when they prayed. Such a practice may not be necessary today, but the same mind-set holds true: God is attentive to the prayers of His people, both day and night.

It may be difficult to find a good time to pray, but since God is vigilant for you at all times, you can seek Him in the middle of the night, on your way to work, or sitting in the pew at church. There’s no better time than another to pray, and you can trust that God is present and aware of your needs before you even ask. As you are present for God, you can enjoy the peace of His presence and love.

Just as Solomon prayed with confidence for the new temple, you can rest assured that God treasures your silence and your words. God is present and is willing to intervene in your life for your good.

Prayer: Lord, I trust that You hear my prayers and that You will respond with love and mercy.

thank you Brother,

timely, as praying for a newborn in need, today flown about 1000 miles to nearest hospital that can/does operate, if need be. Born two weeks ago and not been home yet. The Lord knows before we ask... and when it is family we tend to ask the more...
and our Father sees every sparrow, too.

Bless you ....><>
