At the Christian school cafeteria, it's lunch time.

The children are in the lunch line, and up ahead near the middle of the line is a large platter with dozens of apples on it.
There was a note next to the apples.
"Please take only one, God is watching."

Finally at the end of the line, there was another large platters with dozens of cookies on it.
There was a note written in a child's handwriting....
"Take all you want, God is watching the apples".

This joke of yours reminds me of a real world incident concerning eyes from above.
In the Lutheran multi-parish community centre that I was volunteering at there was a small second-hand clothing shop.
But we had a shoplifting problem, so I came up with the clever idea to post up a sign that simply said "GOD IS WATCHING YOU"
Well did that cause a stir and some pretty extreme complaints about intimidation. Some people declared that they could not enter again under such a sign.
Hhhmmm I wonder whose consciences that simple sign affected?
In the end they got battery operated dummy CCTV cameras to give the pretence of shop security.
