God Speaks about Prayer

This is the message that God has recently given to me. I have been going through a season of non-feeling. I can't feel anything. I continue to pray but have been wondering if my prayers have any power anymore since I can't add sincere feeling to my requests. God has shown me the following message which has begun to return the feelings to my prayers and renewed my faith in the power of prayer.

We need to pray because it is a beautiful offering to God even if we don't feel that our prayers are worthy of His love. It's just like when your child makes something at school and brings it home to you. The child may not be happy with how the art turned out and may see the faults in it, but you as the parent think it is the most beautiful thing anyone has ever given you. You know that your child has created something just for you and has put everything he/she has into creating that art.

The same is true when it comes to giving gifts to our Father. We put everything we have into our prayers and may still feel like they are not worthy of God. But God receives those prayers (though they may be lacking something that you may not be able to give - like feeling). When God receives those prayers, He sees them as the most beautiful gift you can give Him. He puts those prayers on His refrigerator so that He can see them all the time. He feels overwhelming love for you because you gave Him all you had to give in those little prayers.

I think this is the most amazing message I have ever received from my Father and I am most grateful. Thank You God!!!

AMEN!!!!! I SO AGREE!! With God actions moves, and then his words come, and we his children can have great joy, because even though we know who and what we really are,Jesus looks at us as you do your children!

AS his Children always encourging, building us up, to even do better then we did in him yesterday! I am so glad for you Kimmiek!!

And best of all what God has given you,you in turn can help another who has not seen this piece of the narrow road as you have! Because love bears love! And what you are,is what Jesus sees in all his children!! LOVE!! Blessing to you.

Brighthouse:

Thank you for your encouraging words. My goal for posting this here was to help encourage others. I know I'm not the only one who is going through, or has gone through, a season of limbo in my walk with Jesus. My prayers is that my message of hope will give others hope that all is not lost.

This message from God has given me a peace and a tiny (mustard seed) no which to begin to rebuild my faith. My family and I are going through a small set back in our lives. This message and the tiny rays of hope that God has renewed within me has strengthened my faith that all will be well again as God Wills. I am not worried about this set back and hope and pray that my peace will help my family to find peace as well.

Amen Indeed.
