I SHARED THIS ON THE CHAT THOUGHT ID LET ALL SEE IT i AM A SANTA IN THE WINTER ..DONE IT FOR MANY YEARS ..NOW BEFORE YOU PASS JUDGEMENT I ASK YOU TO LISTEN FURTHER ....AT A CHURCH DAY CARE ONE YEAR AROUND 95 I THINK.? A SMALL CHILD ABOUT FIVE SAT DOWN IN MY LAP AND SAID THESE WORDS ONLY....DO YOU KNOW WHO MY BEST FRIEND IS ?....I SAID NO. SHE SAID YOU ARE AND JUST MELTED IN TO ME...SHE JUST NEEDED A HUG..AS I HELD THIS CHILD IN MY ARMS I BEGAN TO PRAY IN MY SPIRIT ,,,WHEN THE TEACHER WAS TAKIN HER DOWN ANOTHER TEACHER LEANED UP AND TOLD ME THAT LITTLE CHILD HAD SEEN DAD KILL HER MOM:shock: AND TRIED TO KILL HER AND I CAN ONLY IMAGINE IT WAS BY THE HAND OF GOD HIMSELF THAT STOPPED HIM.....SHE FOUGHT WITH ALL THE KIDS ,WAS MEAN MOUTHED AND UNRULY..BUT FOR FIVE MINUTES SHE WAS IN THE ARMS OF GOD AND AT PEACE....SO NOW YOU KNOW THE STORY AND HOW GOD CAN USE ANYTHING WE GIVE HIM FOR HIS GLORY...NOW THATS A CHRISTMAS STORY

Did Christ not spend his life being all things to all people....its not about the tool its about the end result and i can tell its not the first time that sort of thing has happened and im not shy about sharing the gospel story as santa either ..im just saing just because its may not be poliical correct in the legalist eyes....dosent mean God cant use it to his glory..somtimes we limit God by placing him a box of legalities and correctness......all she knew was someone cared enough to hold her a while and show her Gods compassion and i was the vessel that got to be a part of that...praise God

I don't believe dressing up as Santa to be a path to hell. St. Nicholas was a very good man, helping others. Quit judging.

lol.. santa claus has more in common with the norse god Odin than with saint nikolas. you might want to read up about your dear santa's nordic origin, and saint nikolas being greek.

as for good man etc., there are good men of all faiths that worship all sorts of false dieties and gods. imitating them is a sin. imitating them in front of impressionable children, even worse.

californiasun, this is a stories forum, stories could cover many topics, it's also in the General lounge section, meaning this is not the place to bring up your belief's against what someone posted.

If you would like to start a thread in ethics and morality section about the evils of Santa Clause, please do so.

If you find a story here offensive, please report it to us.

If you would like to tell the poster you enjoyed their story, please do so.

Otherwise................ Keep your belief's and comments for the proper sections of the forums.
