I don't usually share what I have written in my journal but this entry has been an encouragement that the Lord impressed upon me to share. On the weekend of May 9, 2020 I wrote the following in my journal….
I read in a headline saying….““Finally a virus got me”, Scientist who fought Ebola and HIV reflects on facing death from COVID-19””
It occurred to me as I read this headline, how COVID-19 takes away the breath from an individual who contracts this virus. Today the enemy is using this virus to take away our breath. For he knows it is by our breath that we speak and praise…
Psalm 150:6 (NASB)…Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
From the beginning of time, it was God’s breath that gave man his breath….
Genesis 2:7 (NASB)… Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
Job 33:4 (NASB)… “The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
Psalm 33:9 (TPT)…. Words He breathed and worlds were birthed. “Let there be,” and there it was— Springing forth the moment He spoke. No sooner said than done!
We know that God’s word is God-breathed (THE BIBLE) and it is our life and breath….
2 Timothy 3:16 (TPT)… Every Scripture has been written by the Holy Spirit, the breath of God.(God-breathed) It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness.
Since the outbreak, there were days where I found myself feeling anxious. During a morning walk, I heard the word “Breathe”, I sensed Him whispering in my heart, as you wake to each new day, there will be choices that you will face. When you do ....choose LIFE. When you awaken---
Psalm 119:107 (TPT)…I’m bruised and broken, overwhelmed by it all; breathe life into me again by your living word.
Psalm 119:149 (TPT)…Lord, listen to my heart’s cry, for I know your love is real for me; breathe life into me again by the revelation of your justice.
Psalm 119:159 (TPT)…Lord, see how much I truly love your instructions. So in your tender kindness, breathe life into me again.
Psalm 138:3 (TPT)…At the very moment I called out to you, you answered me! You strengthened me deep within my soul and breathed fresh courage into me.
Song of Songs 4:15 (TPT)...Your life flows into mine, pure as a garden spring. A well of living water springs up from within you, like a mountain brook flowing into my heart! [ The Shulamite Bride ] Then may your awakening breath blow upon my life until I am fully yours. Breathe upon me with your Spirit wind. Stir up the sweet spice of your life within me. Spare nothing as you make me your fruitful garden. Hold nothing back until I release your fragrance. Come walk with me as you walked with Adam in your paradise garden. Come taste the fruits of your life in me. [ The Bridegroom-King ] I have come to you, my darling bride, for you are my paradise garden! [ The Shulamite Bride ] Come walk with me until I am fully yours. Come taste the fruits of your life in me.
I sense within my spirit how the Lord wants to breathe HIS LIFE in us once again…
Ezekiel 37:4-5 NASB ….Again He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.’ Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones, ‘Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life.
YOU WILL KNOW ONCE AGAIN THAT I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD

- For weakness receive MY STRENGTH
- For sorrow receive MY JOY
- For fear receive FAITH
- Breathe and know I AM here
