I had just given birth to my 3rd daughter Elaina Paige by C-section. I had apparently lost a little too much blood but not enough for a transfusion, but I did not know this at the time. The next day my I.V. was taken out and I was able to get out of bed. This is what I remember my feet touched the floor, my husband helped me walk to the bathroom and started my shower for me. I blacked out and fell back against the wall, I came to very confused and shaken. My husband did not want me to get in the shower but being stubborn I pretty much do what I want. So I got in the shower, and about 5 minutes later I had a grand-mal seizure it lasted 6 minutes and I was unresponsive for 2 minutes. I came to with the nurses putting in an I.V. and taping padding to my bedrails. I had no memory for 2 weeks. I'm on seizure meds right now but April 2oo6 I can come off the meds. All my tests came back negative for Epilepsy, I was just low very low on platelets. God really helped through that, it was a very hard time for me, just having a baby and not knowing who she was. Now everything is fine and dandy. Praise the Lord.
