God's mighty waters are so powerful
There is a river in Heaven
It's the most beautiful river you've ever seen
And there's a big fountain
The fountain of life and healing
You can also see a lake
To know, up there, in front of God's throne is shiny sea of glass, that sparkles like crystal
And remembering how he calmed the storm, at the sea of Galilee
Makes me remember how he calms the storm in me!
He helps me in my troubles
The Lord is my everlasting water
He is the living water
Whoever drinks from him will never thirst again
The water Jesus gives you will become a spring of water welling up into eternal life
Jesus is the bread of life
So now I say,
"Open the flood gates of Heaven, so I can have some of that living water
I want to taste it
I want to feel it
I want to know you more Jesus
I want to get a glimpse of what Heaven's like
I want to feel Heaven's rain."
Let the flood gates of heaven open so I can feel Heaven's rain
To get a small glimpse of what Heaven's like
So let's God's mighty waters come down to us
