Can you suggest movies that tackles about Christianity?

I would appreciate any movies, especially those who are true-to life...:)

Fireproof, Facing The Giants, Flywheel(i believe that is what it is called) and Faith Like Potatoes are all faves of mine (faith like potatoes maybe a lil tricky to find..but once you find it, it is definatly worth it)

bringing up bobby

i saw a christian comedy last night - bringing up bobby.

i thought it was quite amusing - though some people might disagree.

it's got a web site but i can't post a link so google bringingupbobbymovie

Some fun movies to watch are The left Behind series. They may have some scripture mixed in with the movies yet they are entertaining.

Addit: Facing The Giants made me cry laugh and have hope in our Lord...It is a wonderful movie.

I guess it all depends on what you like to watch.

The Hiding Place is as close to true-to-life as it gets I think. It's a movie about Corrie Ten Boom and her family as they hide Jews and then are capture and taken to a concentration camp. It's very deep and sad, but there is hope even in the concentration camp!

Joshua-now this one is about a modern Jesus. It's very interesting. I loved it!

There are so many movies out there lol.

Oh watch Sarah's Choice. good movie :-) Has Rebecca St. James in it.

I watch Passion of the Christ when I am feeling low
and seem to not feel God's presence. I am always left
with a sense of gratitude when finished because it
shows the trial, beating, and crucifixion of Jesus, including
His burial and Him coming out of the grave.

BUT. Do not watch this movie if your sensitive to violence
and blood. Watch with a parent if you must. I can watch
it but I am almost 18 so I won't speak for the rest of
the teenage population.

AMEN to that...:)

I watched this movie when I was young..Now that I am 18 I can still remember this and it shows that His hardship is far more worse yet far more touching than anything that I can experience on earth...

I've watched courageous...the movie's great!!:D

(And I find the scene where Javier pretends to be a notorious criminal inside the cab hilarious...:D )

Those are all great movies :-)
Fireproof, Courageous, Faith Like Potatoes, Facing the Giants.

Some good family movies are... Seabiscuit and October Sky

Suing the Devil is an excellent movie. It's basically an allegory for our walk as a Christian in this world. I recommend it.

The Hiding Place is a excellent movie it is based on the book The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom, if you haven't seen it go ahead you'll love it either book or movie.

Soul Surfer is such a good movie. It's the true story of Bethany Hamilton a young girl who is christian and is a surfer and one day she loses her arm in a shark attack. This movie is about her struggle to figure out why it happened and what God shows and teaches her along the way. By the end you are both inspired by this young girl and her faith and the determination she has. I would recomend it to anyone.
