Good friends grandpa

a good friend of mine told me her grandpa wasnt doing so well and the doctors gave him 5 months (i think) to live. this girl's been through as much heartache and pain as i have and i know if her grandfather dies, she's gonna so be at a loss. shes gone through alot as ive already said, and i told her I'd mention this to my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and she said ok. so, pray for her grandfather's healing, if it be God's will.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friends grandfather! There is one thing to keep in mind when a doctor gives a prognosis. Who gave that doctor the skills,wisdom and knowledge to practice? The Almighty Lord!! God is the only one who knows when someone is ready to be born or to die. It is Gods will for His people to be healthy. Continue to be a support for your friend, as this person is blessed to have you at their side. Here are some Healing Scriptures that I hope will be helpful to both of you.

Isaiah53:4 Surely he hath borne our grief's, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted, 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Psalm103:2-3 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.

Exodus23:25 And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. 26There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill.

Jeremiah30:17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

Deuteronomy7:15 And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil dieases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

Psalms107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Matthew8:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

I pray that the Lord brings comfort and hope to both of you. I also pray for wisdom and compassion to guide the hearts and minds of the medical personnel caring for this special gentleman. I will continue to keep you in my prayers.

Im sorry also to hear this, but doctors are not always right. I have seen people through my life who have been given a certain amount of time only to live years longer. It is Gods will not mans. I always remember the verse from Isaiah in which I put alot of store in....

The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

Dear God if it be your will we ask that this man be given a longer life , and that you will give this grandaughter the strenth and peace she needs at this time. Bless them both Lord and be with them in all things. In Jesus Holy name we ask.
