thank You for being a loving friend
thank You for showering love on me
thanks for Your helping hands
there was a time when I wanted to please people
to be accepted, to fit in
I found myself unhappy with me,
insecure, and living in sin
because no matter what I did and how hard I tried
I was never really accepted
the more I gave, the more they took,
the more i felt rejected.
At the time it really hurt
I thought the worlds love was what I needed
Its hard for the flesh to believe what the flesh cant see
and if you dont believe it you wont recieve it.
the truthe of the matter is all this time,
i had love all along
because God is love and your my God
i've been going about it all wrong.
now im getting to know You
establishing a stronger bond between us
one thats built on loyalty, love, truthe, and trust.
here i am with all I have
the good, the bad, the ugly.
I know You can still use me Lord,
just tell me where You want me.
show me how to wallk the walk
of a true diciple of You.
If I can just touch the hem of Your garmet,
I will never turn it loose.
Just like the woman with the issue of blood,
I have some issues too.
I have some things dwelling within,
and I need a touch from You.
because from what i read, Your a healer
the power is within You.
The blind can see, the lame can walk,
You cast out demons too.
Lord I want to walk in my calling
put aside selfishness and focus on You
I want my worship to be so natural,
glorifying You in all that i do.
Let my praise be authentic, like food to the soul and music to the ear.
let the fragrance smell Soooo good,
they want to know what perfume I wear.
So I can tell them this is "GP"
Gods Property all the way
which doesnt just last a few hours
it lasts all day everyday.
