I'm new as of today.
This might get lengthy.
I'm here b/c I've found that communication through the internet is good and easier to meet other Christians.
I tried Reddit for some time and did find a pretty good Christian sub there. I do not recommend that site. We are the minority in places not our own.
Realistically, a lot of the Christian online space are not that engaging or productive.
Disagreement is not hate yet one can easily see the outcome from those who subjectively find something "hateful".
I care about God, Christians, people in general, the Truth (not just in God), and facts. We know these are under constant attack.
I've seen many "Christians" and even mods hold "feelings" over facts. I could give a ton of examples but that's not the point.
There is no consensus on where, online, is best for Christians.
Truth is no matter what topic, someone, somewhere, is going to be "upset" and "offended" by it.
I've seen where this "flaming" rule thing is so wide that people are reported, not for opinions, but facts and known information and then the truth teller is punished and the other is off free.
Is this place like that? Is rule 1.2 so broad that subjective disagreement can silence others? I should hope not.
