Hi All,

I just discovered this forum on Sunday (June 4). I've been on various forums for the past 4 years (ones mostly related to cars or motorsports in some way shape or form). So to find a forum that caters to Christians to discuss matters concerning Christ and the things that He values is really awesome!
There are two issues that are on particularly on my heart that I'd love to engage in some discussions with folks here:

• how to be a more effective Sunday School teacher (for Gr. 11 and 12 students)
• how to to motivate our church whose members are multi-cultural/multi-generation congregation to serve our Lord more

I also serve in the audio ministry and love working with music worship teams! Over the past couple years, I and two other audio guys have found ourselves in a position to mentor to the youth in our church which has been a lot of fun and very rewarding.

I look forward to "meeting" fellow bros/sises in Christ here.

Greetings in the Precious Name of Jesus.

Like you Brother Felix I only found this Forum within the last few days. I am spending some time familiarising myself with the 'feel' of the Forum.

When I read your questions ..."how to be a more effective..." and "how to motivate our...." I was reminded how, like you, I had the same kind of difficulties in those early enthusiatic days.

These two things spoke to me and through them the Lord showed me how to be truly strong and effective for Him

First...it is ....
"'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty." (Zech 4:6)

Second....

Take my life, and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee.
Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise.
Take my hands, and let them move at the impulse of Thy love.
Take my feet, and let them be swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take my voice, and let me sing always, only, for my King.
Take my lips, and let them be filled with messages from Thee.
Take my silver and my gold; not a mite would I withhold.
Take my intellect, and use every power as Thou shalt choose.

Take my will, and make it Thine; it shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart, it is Thine own; it shall be Thy royal throne.
Take my love, my Lord, I pour at Thy feet its treasure store.
Take myself, and I will be ever, only, all for Thee.

Many blessing to you my brother and I pray to the Lord of the Harvest that He will work with you and through you for His Names Sake.

Felix... welcome to Talk Jesus, and i agree with 4Jesus on your questions. Prayer plus faith in your prayer, is also very important when making decisions, so pray about it.

Jam 5:16 Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
