2 months back I asked my friend to let me know if she heard any of her friends are selling their cars because she have a big circle of friends. At that time I saved enough money to buy a second hand car.
After a week while praying God told me to give the money I saved to my church which will benefit specifically to the branch church out side the capital city and I said “Lord I prayed about this for more than a year and this is the time I have the money and ready to buy the car?” but the Holy spirit pushed so hard convicting me that I should give away the money, and then I did!
The branch church /Nakivali Church/ leaders and members where praying to God to provide them money for constraction because the church was very small in size and the roof was very old and it started licking during rainy season. Well God granted them the money they needed; they repaired the roof and expanded the building in one side.
Here is what happened after 3 weeks my friend came back to me and asked me to buy her car at half price and I told her, too bad I don’t have the money with me now so I can’t buy your car. Amazingly she persistently started calling me every day and one morning she waked me up from my sleep "as if she couldn't sleep at all" and said she wants to come to my office and if I have time and I said sure and told her to come at 8:30 AM.
Here is what she said again, I want you to buy my car and I am offering you half price and I smiled at her and said I would be more than happy but I also don’t have the half price, I only have 45% of the money .
She said ok I will take what you have and you can give me the rest of the money when you are ready.
The truth is I started geting confused why she is persistently asking me to take her car even at 45% of the price. So I asked her to give me one day so that I can pray about it. In the evening when I get back from office I started praying and asking God to guide me and God clearly said “ I want to bless you , why are you refusing? “
I couldn’t believe what I heard I was refusing to receive what I have asked from God. I asked forgiveness, promised that I will walk by faith and called my friend and told her I have decided to take the car but i will have a mechanic check the car first.
After I paid the 45%, my bank account was empty living me with small cash in my hand, after two days I was sitting on my desk in my office and then our secretary came to my office. when I saw her at that time (it was around 6:30 pm) I asked why she is still in the office at that hour and she said “I wanted to give you the 100$ back” I said, you want to give me back? And she said yes you borrowed me some months back and I want to give you back now. “I didn’t even remember I had money with her”.
It was unbelievable to see how God was watching over my thoughts and situation, I felt God CLOSER more than I ever did, it touched my heart and my eyes where full of tears all the way driving back to my apartment. “tears of Joy” “tears of love” “tears of thanks giving”
He cares so much ……………..yes God cares
