He is ordering and pacing my steps!

Jesus is ordering my steps and taking control of my life. In addition to ordering my steps He is also pacing them. He orders and paces my steps.

I used to hurry at every step. Now I am walking slower. My speech is slower. I am responding to life and not reacting. I've never had dreamed that patience would come to me especially in the amounts that Jesus has heaped it upon me.

He is becoming the center of my life.

I am so thankful of Jesus Christ my Lord, Saviour and Redeemer.

Tristan, as the year draws to a close I too realize I need to develop a stronger relationship with God. I need to cling more to Him and not to what I think I want because I have to trust that He knows what my path is. I always get anxious as the year comes to a close when I think things in my life haven't and aren't going to improve, but now I realize that the devil is playing on my insecurities. The mere fact that I have woken up today is an indication that the Lord has more for me to do. So as 2018 comes to a close and 2019 begins I seek my joy in the Lord.

His joy is our strength, for the joy that was set before Jesus He endured the cross.

My verse of the day which speaks volumes to me is Luke 6:38 "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with what measure ye mete it shall be measured to you again." My plan in the coming year is to give more of myself to others in whatever ways the Lord sees fit. I wish to take the focus off me and more on serving God's people.
