1Co 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

Forgot two crucial scriptures that had came to mind so it should have looked like the following when it comes to agenda.

Holy Spirit Agenda "Agree in one with the Father and execute His will"

1Jn 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
1Jn 5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
&
Mat 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
&
Luk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Luk 4:19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

When that spirit says something contrary to scripture as kept in the KJV, that is not the Holy Spirit. Do keep in mind that the Holy Spirit is relaying words from Christ and so your focus is on listening to the Son of God at that throne of grace.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

If the spirit says "This is the Holy Spirit speaking..." then that is not the Holy Spirit.

Not disagreeing but I do want to add that

John 5;43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

and that the words of Christ and the Holy Spirit is of The Father who is one lord, one authority, one will, one God
-------------------------------------------------------

John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

Your post is sort of taking the topic in a different direction..which needs to be addressed.

For any testimony to be true, two or three witnesses must be in agreement. The same applies to God.

The Hebrew word for God "elohiym" in the Old Testament is plural and defines in Strong's Comcordance as "plural of ''elowahh' (433); gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative:--angels, X exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X mighty. "

We see this mention in the request for the creation of man in "their image" and for judging the people at the tower of Babylon.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Genesis 11:6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

See the shift from plurality within that One God to when God acts as the One God?

Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

I acknowledge the verses of the One God, but there are scripture testifying to the plurality within that One God that I shall not deny the deity of the Son nor of the Holy Ghost as being with the Father as the Three witnesses of the One God

Just as false teachings are exposed and corrected by scripture as scripture cannot go against scripture, and so are false spirits are exposed when anything said by that spirit is going against scripture and thus proving it is not the Holy Ghost when no lie can be of the truth.

Well.. to keep on topic:

Just as false teachings are exposed and corrected by scripture as scripture cannot go against scripture, and so are false spirits are exposed when anything said by that spirit is going against scripture and thus proving it is not the Holy Ghost when no lie can be of the truth.

But if you wish to continue in private conversation which I had started with you, that is fine.

It can be easy to assume that the spirit speaking to you is the Holy Spirit when you want it to be that Holy voice. But whatever is spoken to you in Spirit must be compared to the precepts found in Holy scripture. The enemy wishes you to turn away from those precepts, not to them. So if you find the words to be true according to scripture, then its the Holy Spirit.

How do you discern this to be the Holly spirit and not the devil, how do you here?

thanks
The spirit reminds you of truth, of scripture. In a given situation that you need to discern something the spirit will use the scriptures you need to help you.

As for hearing the voice of God I think that this would be a specific gift, something more a prophet is given.

How do you discern this to be the Holly spirit and not the devil, how do you here?

If you want the Holy Spirit, or to hear from it. Look at the things Jesus taugth in the four gospels. " But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you." John 14:26. The job of the Holy Spirit is to tell you the things Jesus said, so you can have an easier time obeying him! So look at Jesus' teachings!

"To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leaderth them out.
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers" John 10:3-5

So then if we are His sheep we will be hearing and recognizing His voice.

Are we His sheep? If not how do we become sheep rather than goats?
The following verses explain the difference between them:
Matt 25:31-46

So then what do we need to do to be one of those sheep at the right hand rather than a goat at the left hand?

To be a sheep you need to obey Jesus' commands! There's many but God's grace is always there! Check out the four gospels.

So then what do we need to do to be one of those sheep at the right hand rather than a goat at the left hand?

The answer is within the same parable you provided in Matthew25:31-46. The goats on the left did not DO what the sheep on the right DID. The sheep on the right clothed, fed, gave drink, healed, invited and visited the "very least of theses my brethren". The goats on the left are banished into "everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels" because they failed to act and ultimately DO.

It is interestingly similar to what Jesus said at the end of the sermon on the mount about those who will CLAIM to be sheep and call him Lord and shepherd.

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain decended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not; for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand; And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it." - Matthew 7:21-27

What I also find interesting is the comparison of Jesus saying "whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them" and the sheep that hear the Good Master Shepherd in John 10 to discern between the Holy Spirit and the devil.

It leaves me with the question, "What are these sayings that Jesus said", that the Holy Spirit will lead us back to which Jesus explained in John 14:26 & John 16:13?

We will know the "sayings" as we are led to them by the Holy Spirit when, in each case, the time is God's time for it rather than our own. We are not supposed to be leading ourselves but many of us do... especially when we are young in the Lord, we sometimes have thought we had to do everything instead leaning heavily always on Him.

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" Ecc 3:1 =God's time
"O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps." Jerem 10:23 =God's direction
Ask and ye shall receive:
"O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!" Psalm 119:5

We are not supposed to be leading ourselves but many of us do...

I would agree. It reminds me of when Martha invited Jesus to visit her and her sister Mary. Martha became distracted in preparing a meal for everyone while Mary sat at the feet of Jesus and "ἤκουεν τὸν λόγοναὐτοῦ", or, "was listening to the word of Him."

It brought me back to Deuteronomy 33:3 "Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words."

We will know the "sayings" as we are led to them by the Holy Spirit when, in each case, the time is God's time for it rather than our own.

You kinda dodged my open question about the "sayings" of Jesus. (Also, why did you put "sayings" in quotations? ) But if we want to jump back to quote the Old Testament for "timing, direction, and statutes" I have always found Psalm 23 comforting.

The LORD (that is, Jesus the Christ) is my shepherd (see John 10:1-21); I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name. Psalm 23:1-3

The Holy Spirit will lead us to the "sayings" of Jesus as Jesus said in John 14:26 & John 16:13.

Can anyone list me 10-20 things Jesus said for his followers to DO (like the sheep at the right hand in Matthew 23:31-46 )? *No prophecy or parables*

Dodged? What is that the Holy Ghost brings to our remembrance? What is it that is quickened [brought to Life] within us? What is it that that verse you mentioned [John 14:26] says?

And so forth. God has all of the answers to your questions. Sometimes He will provide them through me. Sometimes it seems that I really know nothing at all.

The quotation marks were just my quick way of putting emphasis on the word, sayings. Sorry if it wasn't grammatically correct.

What is that the Holy Ghost brings to our remembrance?

The things Jesus said. "...and bring to remembrance all that I said to you". - John 14:26

What is it that is quickened [brought to Life] within us?

Like Jesus said, "It is the spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life." - John 6:63

What is it that that verse you mentioned [John 14:26] says?

That the Holy Spirit will bring me to remember Jesus the Christ has said...

And so forth. God has all of the answers to your questions. Sometimes He will provide them through me. Sometimes it seems that I really know nothing at all.

That is a good mentality to have. The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:5-7, "God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble." Also again, in the Bible in Psalm 138 (specifically Psalm 138:6).

No worries. Thank you for clarifying.
