Dear friends,

If you're serious about eternity, then I want to know which is the most happiest place you think, is it heaven or earth?

Some of my friends are good believers because they are saved, but Some of my christian friends don't believe that there is a heaven and a hell for eternity. Can you imagine that, being Christians and not to believe that there is a heaven and a hell.

Some people being Christians say that God is boring. Can you imagine this? Being Christians they don't know that there is no place like God's presence.

Some people say that heaven is a boring place where you have to sing songs mournfully before God. No TV, no games, no entertainment, etc.

How shocking it is? What can we say about these things? There are churches which teach these kind of things today.

But I say that heaven is the most happiest place you can ever imagine or even think of. In fact it is beyond our imagination.

Can you imagine, no sorrow, no pain, no agony, no trouble, no worries, no hard times, no tears, ............ absolute freedom, all the time enjoying God's presence, .......... no sin, no evil, ..........

There is no place like God's presence.

I say that heaven is a 1000 times (or a lot more) better than earth.

God bless you.

NOTE:

This is a very serious matter.

I'm not just focussed on my unbelieving friends alone, but the Church as a whole. There are people who go to Church, but still don't believe in God.

For example let us see the Pharisees and Scribes, look what they did to Jesus.

The Pharisees mentality has crept into the hearts of many people in the Church.

This is what I'm really focussed on. It is a world wide problem, infact there are many Churches in the world which misguide the people away from the Lord.

We need revival within the body of Christ all over the world.

In Your presence
That's where I am strong
In Your presence
O Lord my God
In Your presence
That's where I belong
Seeking Your face
Touching Your grace
In the cleft of the Rock
In Your presence O God

i was looking for the verse in psalms that David wrote about how he would rather be a doorman at the gates of the house of the Lord, than to dwell comfortably in the tents of the wicked and i came across psalm 73, i think it fits.

Heaven of course. Without even a doubt in my mind!

I'm sorry to say, but if your Christian friends don't believe in heaven or hell or say the things they do, then I would seriously doubt that they are Christian at all. They are even worse off than non-believers.

Revelation 3:16 "So, because you are lukewarm - neither hot nor cold - I am about to spit you out of my mouth."

If they do not believe God's word, they are calling Him a liar. Oh, how dreadful it will be on Judgment day for them.

Hebrews 10:31 "It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."

1 Peter 4:5 "But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead."

Isaiah 13:11 "I will punish the world for it's evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless."

Romans 2:8,9 "But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil."

2 Thessalonians 1:8,9 "He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power."

Matthew 24:51 "He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

no heaven ?no hell?

I would put a bible in their hands and encourage them to read it.
A foolish man to call God a liar.

Amen to that! Sounds like a bunch of Jehovah Witnesses to me lol. Boy, will they be surprised when they're burning in Hell. I pray they see truth before it's too late for them.

Please allow me to tell all of you something.

My Christian friends are not Jehovah's witnesses at all.

Some of them are very good believers in the Lord (they are saved), but some of them don't even bother to spend time with Him, because they very much attracted to worldly entertainment. This is what's bothering me a lot.

If a non-Christian wants to take an example of a Christian, who will he/she believe.

God bless you.

NOTE: We cannot take this lightly because it is a very bad influence and a very bad witness to the non-Christians.

Sorry if I didn't sound like I took it serious. I did and I will be praying for your friends.

God Bless

It is alright Cody, you didn't sound like you didn't take it serious to me. I guess I should have been more clear in my first post in this thread.

Since you're a college student too (I know it because I seen your profile), I wish to share something with you.

I believe we can win souls for God's Kingdom, right within the college premises or your class room.

Please see this thread I earlier posted today:

http://www.talkjesus.com/teen-hangout/18131-winning-souls-college.html#post96518

Some of my friends, they were hindus, but now they are born again Christians, by God's grace, but all of their family members are Hindus. They tell me this,"If only my family comes to know that I'm a Christian, they will kill me, but my life is completely in the hands of Jesus.".

While some of my friends, even though they were Christians from birth, they don't know that there is a heaven and a hell. When I began to tell them about hell, the next minute, they were telling me, "Richard, please stop telling me, I'll not be able to sleep tonight."

This is a serious problem with the body of Christ, even though they go to Church every Sunday, write exams on the bible, they still don't know the Lord, some of them are not even willing to know the Lord.

I sent Christian videos to my friends, with a hope that God will touch them some day and they will be born again.

Ofcourse some of my Christian friends are born again.

The reason why I decided to start this thread is because it is a serious matter.

Thank you so much for praying for my friends. I pray that God will use you too, for your lost friends' salvation.

God bless you.

Hi Richie
I don't often take part in a poll like this one because many of my friends are essecially defeatists, sad but true, even the so called Christians. When they make this choice emotionally they put no value in the other. That is what I cannot do. Living by the GospelsMark10:29 we learn that even though we need all our focus on Jesus and our Father's Kingdom because of the Great CommissionMatthew28:18>20we must also live our lives on Earth to the fullest and gather the Lord's flock as we move forward day by day.Matthew18:10-14 & Matthew10:16So as we live "we must live! but for our Lord & Saviour and our Father's Kingdom, & not to foresake this life for a better one, if we do this, we will forsake Heaven.
~As a child of the Kingdom of Heaven; my domain is earth~

we have a message of hope that others need to hear it/we must keep praying for every one/escepcially for the lost/peace in jesus gelly x

Richie,

Its a sad thing to hear that your christian friend dont believe in heaven? How come christian dont know the way? So, when they die . Dont they know the way to heaven.? Heaven is our true home for those who believe in God. He has prepared a mansion for us were there is no more pain , tears & everything is light & no darkness. Here on earth is temporary .. I hope & pray for your friends to grow matured in the knowledge of Gods word on bible study..

Be strong in the lord..Richie

1Co 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

Mal 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Mal 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Mal 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

2Pe 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2Pe 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
2Pe 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
2Pe 3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
2Pe 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
2Pe 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
2Pe 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
2Pe 3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
2Pe 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

we may not to get to play the ps2 anymore or watch Brad Pitt get young by makeup or get to speak to each other through instant messaging or get to eat pizza anymore,,

but we will get to see and hug and talk to the Most High God, our King, our Father in Heaven, our Lord and Savior.

in truth, there is nothing that psyches me more than to get into that white dress the Lord has set aside for me in my personal wardrobe in heaven, take that tambourine and dance for Him and praise my King!

----
the white dress.. err.. there may not be anything like that in the Bible.. but that's just how I imagine we'd be looking like up there with Him.. hehe.. you get my point.

Whether they are friends, family or foe, awaken our hearts, Lord Jesus. God knows their hearts, He knows what the enemy is using to keep them in the presence of the Lord, as we pray awaken our hearts, we bring a prayer of Truth to be set in front of other hearts and our own, to give us the wisdom we need and bring truth into their hearts too. amen.

Richie, hello, so much in agreement with you!

The Song, One day in your courts,is better than than a thousand elsewhere! Was my thought as I read your post.

We cannot imagine what God has in store for us who believe, and I also believe we will be finding out for all eternity.....

This is a really good topic. Well i've got to be honest I know the happiest place to be is of course heaven but sometimes I feel as though I'm just not ready yet I absolutey want to be with Jesus but sometimes I feel as though there are certain things I would like to do that I know I won't be able to do in heaven like marrige, sailing the ocean things like that I"m ready and want to be with Jesus but a little part of me wants to have a little more time here does anyone else feel this way as well ? Godbless love in Christ.

The goodthing about being in heaven is you will not feel all those regrets anymore, no more pain, no more worries, no more tears... We will not feel the feeling of needing something anymore, everything is right and enough. Our hearts will only be filled with gladness singing and worshiping God.

So dont worry about leaving the earthly ocean Shipwreck for there is a greater ocean waiting for us in Heaven.
