This morning I posted a prayer request. I was supposed to have a stress test today. I had been grieving over having this test for over a week. Well, now I have a praise report! I felt in my heart it was the Holy Spirit warning me not to have the test done. But, after pep talks from my mother, sister, gramma, and many others, I decided to just go and get it over with. I felt uneasy the entire ride to the office. As I entered the room, the demon of panic began to plague me. As the good patient that I am, I asked question after question. I still felt uneasy. Then, the nurse said something that struck my attention. She said that after the test was over, she would give me enough fluid to get rid of the medicine and bring my heart rate down. As most of you know, I am in kidney failure. When someone is in kidney failure and on dialysis, you are usually on a fluid restriction. The reason for this is because instead of flushing out, fluid collects on the body causing fluid retention, in other words, bloating. The extra fluid for a kidney patient is hard on the heart and lungs. It also makes dialysis harder on a person. The extra fluid she would have pumped into me would have caused me some pretty major problems tomorrow when I go to dialysis. Anyway, I told her this, and it was as if a lightbulb went off in her brain. She said, "Well, we don't want that, do we!" She went to call the doctor and when she came back, she said that there is another test they can do that gives the same results, but it takes longer. Although it takes longer, the test doesn't require speeding up my heart rate. And, I won't have the feeling of my heart beating in my chest and I won't have as many ill effects. GOD IS SO AWESOME!! I heeded to His voice and He turned everything around for my benefit! I Praise you My JESUS, You are my sword and my sheild! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND I GIVE YOU THE PRAISE GLORY AND HONOR!!! AMEN!
