I am unsure if this is how to introduce myself? My name is Joe, I am a 63 year old retired Automotive technician. I have just complete my years stay at Pennsylvania Adult and Teen Challenge which is a faith based directed faciity. I am currently staying on as an intern and looking to join a bible study group, one of the internship requirements here, I go to several BS classes here but thought it a good idea to explore a BS site removed from Teen Challenge so as to eliminate any biasPAATC might have. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Entemology (The study of Insects) but worked on cars professionaly for 32 years because of the fanatisism in the field...I graduated in 1978 from University of Maryland amid the post DDT era and EVERYONE was on the NO PESTICIDE bandwagon. Which is and was unrealistic. Every seenan apple with brown spots from insect damage in the grocers? Noticed NOBODY buying it? I rest my case. Anyway, working on cars afforded me a good life and I retired at 58 due to bad arthritis. Losing my father to diabetes in May 2017 and being diagnosed with the same malady in July led to my alcohol abuse which landed me here at teen challenge courtesy of Katie...see my testimony.
