Hello there. I've been a member of this site for a while now but I'm re-introducing myself in part because I wasn't sure where else to post my current musings.

I am feeling very angst at the moment because i've made many mistakes recently and feel like i've fallen into habitual sin. Feel like i've thrown away the mercy that was once demonstrated to me.

Hi Jay. Welcome back. I have been there. Pour your all into Him!

Let's not live by our feelings. They are influenced by things unseen and in this case an evil hindering spirit. Feelings have a way of literally sucking the life out of us by focusing on them and not the living Word of God.

Repent of your sin and turn from your ways to God's!

Psalm 119:105

1 John 1:7-9

Feel like i've thrown away the mercy that was once demonstrated to me.
This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
(Lamentations 3:21-23 KJV)

Mercies are plural, Jay, and they are new every morning.
Have faith in this - the mercies and compassions of the LORD, to which He is faithful.

It is never too late for returning to Jesus. He died for you on the cross and there are no limits to His love for you. Bless you. I pray you are feeling more encouraged this week.

Welcome to Talk Jesus @Jay - In Bloom

Thank you for your introduction.

It is a blessing to know that it is our Lords love and grace that we can lean and rely on and not our feelings which ofttimes condemn us
