Hello from Virginia

Hi!

I was raised very strict Mennonite, with the long dresses, white caps, and plain cars. I turned to God with all my heart at age 9, but I didn't really receive the revelation in my soul, of God actually making me clean by the Blood of Jesus, until I was 17. I was a faithful little Mennonite woman, until God got hold of me, and filled me with His Spirit. ...And I just couldn't stay where I couldn't raise my hands in worship on Sunday mornings.

So now I am a Pentecostal Holiness, redeemed by the Blood of Jesus, baptized in water and in the Spirit.
I believe God demands a holy walk before Him.
We are soldiers in a vast battlefield, and we need to discern that the enemy is not our fellow Christian.

I love to worship my precious Jesus.
I am now 50 years old, and Jesus has taught me a lot over the years.
I have had to unlearn some mistaken theological dogmas.
I have also had my eyes opened to many things in the Word that I was never taught in my growing up years.

"You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free!"
"If the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed!"

The Son has shown me the Truth, and He has set me so very free!

if you trust your own interpretation of scripture you're just as likely to get destroyed as the man who reads some things in the bible that aren't there...(i'm talking about myself.. going insane slowly)......."quote eldon "......

last i knew we all had to work out our own salvation. i will not always get the same as the guy next to me out of scripture.im not sure there is an absolute for this statement to be based on .,dosent lean not to youre own understanding refer to seeking God and not thinking youve got a perfect handle on interpitation of Gods word....Rev
