Well you've come to the a site that can help you in getting to know Scripture better. Of course it will start with you. Depending on how serious you are, about it, and what you are willing to put into it, will be exactly through the Holy Spirit what you will get out of it. That's how bible study works. Not always easy, but dedication on your part in prayer will increase your knowledge and appreciation of His Word.
You have an awesome group of not only Staff, but Brothers & Sisters in Christ Jesus who are members here that will be more than willing to help you. So, please feel free to give a shout out, and I'm sure all will help as the Spirit moves them to do so.
Also, I do have a question. Have you already been Baptized? You don't say, so I don't want to assume anything.
