hello my name is Tim.. I spose i should tell you a lil about myself.. im currently in the USAF and in Balad Iraq.. im 8 days away from being 23.. i grew up in Grand Rapids Michigan but now live in Tucson AZ on DMAFB.. thats Davis-Monthan.. anyway.. i just figured i should probly get involved with a christian program because i don't think im doing very well spiritually.. i know we could all do better and nobody's perfect but i still feel im less than normal maybe.. if there is a normal heh.. well i wont clutter up the new guy thread with all that i hope to be able to post later and read some... hopefully find some answers..

welp i gotta go now hope im able to visit frequently
thanks for all of your prayers im sure you all are praying for us... many of us are doing just fine.. for some it is hard to be away from there families being just married and having a child and whatnot but for the most part ppl like myself with no real attachments i.e. wife/kids/or girlfriend for that matter its really not too bad the weather is hot but not unbearable... kindof like Tucson.. we have pretty good food here too and most ppl are out of the tents and in trailers so... its alright

Tim, Welcome to Talkjesus. We are here if you need to talk about anything. When we walk with Christ as our Lord and Saviour it only takes baby steps by following Him. Seek what He wants from you, you are His child.
On another note, I personally would like to say thank you to keeping us safe over here with the work you are doing in Iraq. Is there anything we can do for you? like pray for something specific, pray for a fellow soldier etc.
