I should point out that in spite of making her decision and commitment to change, it was her reliance on the Lord to change her is when she find real help from the Lord. Listen to her testimony to see that truth that although we can make a decision to change, we have to look to Him and His words to us that He will change us rather than look to ourselves in doing the best we can in keeping a decision or a commitment when there is no power in our religious flesh to do it.

Hopefully the Lord will lead her away from testifying of her commitment which is like a promise, to her faith in Jesus Christ to not only change her but keep her from her sins daily in walking in the light in fellowship with the Father & the Son

Just saying, keeping a commitment as if that is the power to change oneself when it is not is a double minded state for why believers should ask Jesus to set them free from it to rest in Him & His words to set us free from our sins.

Galatians 5:1Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage...
5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:..
11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure....
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
