I've been friends with this woman for over three years now. I really care about her. I pray for her everyday. She is going thru alot. My pray is that is this a test to be patience or is it meant for us just to be friends?

Only the Lord knows. Is she a christian? No matter the pain of the decision, if she isnt a christian, you should not attach yourself with her other than friends.

Tell her you would like to get to know her as more than a friend if she would like that. If she would like that, she will say yes. If she doesnt , try to stay her friend, but if its tearing your heart apart, you best move on. The Lord wants good things for you. If she is good for you and you are good for her, and you both serve the Lord with gladness, a cord of three will not easily be broken.
