It's been difficult no matter what. In fact, its getting worse these days with the political party at the top. I really hope things change.Hello smartammo !!
Is the persecution of Christians still going on by Indian Nationalists that are Hindus? How have you been doing during that difficult time until now?
I think this exhortation is for the saints of your area undergoing persecution under the threat of death like that. It's been difficult no matter what. In fact, its getting worse these days with the political party at the top. I really hope things change.
May God bless you too.
Religious pride may be one cause of it. Imagine doing all that work and they feel good about it because it shows their zeal & love for that religion, their works of man, to earn their way into Heaven or whatever they seek after ( Nirvana which is that final state for Buddhism rather than Hinduism ) but to say it is not good enough and what they are in is falsehood for why they need Jesus Christ to save them and to save them from their sins in doing those things to obtain salvation by, well, that can rub religious sinners the wrong way. Some just do not want to give up all the religious works they have done and all that money & time & devotion they put into it and so pride may keep them from believing otherwise. The thing is, there is no assurance to the end of their works whereas Jesus has risen as assurance of our salvation for believing in Him.You know what, I just cannot understand why there is persecution around the world for something that is good.

Thanks a lot. Your first para sums it up. Too much of emotion, sunk cost fallacy and mostly religion has become political. Politics (gain for a sect of people) is making folks to polarize and create obstacles for others. I do not know if there's a solution, but I wish there was.May God bless you too.

1 Corinthians 15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
May God bless you & keep you. May He shine His face upon you and give you His peace.
