Hi there, how is everyone doing on this blessed day? My name is Jessica but everyone calls me Jess, I'm 30 yrs old, a full time mother of 4 children ages 11, 9, 3 & 14 months , I am married to the man of my dreams which was actually my first childhood crush as a little girl, we've been married for 13 yrs, we reside in the mountains of West Virginia.
My husband, Henry and I were both baptized and gave our life to our lord Jesus Christ on October 19, 2003, but we have recently fallen away from God and we are doing our best to draw him closer back to us, We need him back into our hearts and lives because without him we have nothing, we are nothing, he's our Everything! We both pray daily and I am constantly reading daily devotions, my bible and praying and just spending time with Christ.. Often at times I feel so far away from God and I know we're the ones that moved and we both struggle to bring him close to us again, I want to feel his love, his warmth and his strength again like I once did, I was on fire for Jesus Christ and it seemed like once our son was born which was at 32 weeks, we wasn't able to take him out in public due to his immune system, the doctor said he would get RSV so we wasn't able to attend Church and since than we have fallen so far from God..
We NEED him back in our lives and hearts because his is our rock, our strength, our Saviour, he's our everything, that is why I'm here today, trying to draw Jesus Christ closer to us, to me. Your site really helps me each day as I read your daily devotions, scriptures, and prayers. I am new to being a christian, I was not raised in a church, I started attending church regularly when I started dating my husband, I never knew how to pray or even go to God, I did believe in God growing up, At times, I feel like I don't know how to pray, and question " Am I praying right " Is my words coming out right so Jesus understands me? " I am in need of spiritual help and lots of prayer for me, as well as my husband and children to become closer to our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe he is our Saviour, he died on the old rugged cross for our sins, and three days later he rose again and he's alive today and he lives within us, Praise the Lord!!!! It is so good to be here and so proud to be a member of this wonderful glorious message board..!
