Hello,
Here's my little introduction. I've been an artist most my life until God called me to be in the U.S. Army. At first I didn't know why God wanted me to be in the something as rough as the Army (I certainly didn't come up with that idea. I felt I'd never make it in the Army). It became very clear however, when, after passing basic training and spending one year at my first duty station overseas (I'm still overseas), I met my husband-to-be. We got married in October of last year. I still do some art on the side, when I get a chance (life in the Army is very busy). Most of my artwork involves fantasy elements, thus I'm a big fan of C.S. Lewis and Tolkien's work. I especially love reading C.S. Lewis' apologetics such as 'Mere Chrisitanity' and 'The Screwtape Letters'.
My favorite book of the Bible is Revelation. I find it very reassuring as it shows us exactly what God's plan is for the world, and that we are not to worry. Another book I love is Genesis, as it explains why the world is as it is today (the Fall). I also love the book of John. It is my favorite historical account of Christ on this world.
I decided to join this forum because I really needed to have some Christian fellowship online. I've been feeling down, because everywhere I seem to go online, there are athiests, agnostics and pagans that ridicule what I have to say about Christ. This is not surprising, however, it does make one feel like they are alone at times! I'm glad to have found this forum.
