Higher Ground

:star:The first three years of mine Christian life, I was challenged for all the costs of becoming YOUR disciple. In paying them all, I have hurt many even my whole family. I offended almost everyone just to be YOUR disciple at least a worthy one. But I have found that to be YOUR mere disciple is not enough for there's a higher degree where in we shall be called. A degree/level YOU engraved, YOU knitted in our being. Yes, a higher ground, and greater cost is required. Yes, a higher purpose; yet a greater sacrifice, a hundred if not ALL far greater than the cost of being YOUR disciple.

Everyday we are being challenged to be dying, forgetting our own and looking for that higher ground. And everytime we find ourselves unworthy, unable to do so, to be like what YOU want us to be. Though we desire that we could be but our desire is not enough to fulfill that higher ground. We don't know if we could really pay the price of whatYOU'RE offering us to be.

MAny times I thought of quitting but never YOU encourage us to do so. YOUR WORDS encouraging us to continue....

It is true that we set our hearts and minds to do YOUR WIILL and follow YOU wherever YOU are. To see my family for Jesus. My birthplace, my town, my people worshipping and serving YOU, the true LIVING GOD and become like what YOU want me to be - to be like CHRIST. And if THY WORD says 'there.. go..' - I will... If 'stay' i will stay willing and ready to wait for THY command.

LORD if you really have called us to be, please supply the demands.

Yes bro. I thought of one day wanting to go home in the Lord's presence but I was surprised at His WORD through Paul in Philippians 1 and 3:12-14 about staying in the body and leaving, obtaining yet obtained it not yet, but pressing on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called him heavenward. Many portions in the Scripture God gave me about Heights, spacious space, grounds but i just can't understand.

but i know God will come to reveal all things one day.
