Holy Ghost message interpreted to you?

My experience as a christian I have had a wonderful and blessed experience with the Holy Ghost speaking to me through obedient christians. One time I was seeking the Lord on where I needed to be (church wise), the Lord called me to fast and the next night I went to a Bible study. Well, afterwards my husband and three other people were standing in the back of the church talking. So, I headed that way and when I got there the Holy Ghost started speaking through the three all at the same time and God used one of the three to interpret. The Lord let me know where I needed to be.The three didn't even know I was seeking the Lord about that ,plus they didn't know that I wanted to be spoke to in that way. Only God knew. It was the most wonderful feeling in the world! So for those who are unsure about speaking in tongues or interpreting it's very real. I've had the Holy Ghost to speak to me like that about other things as well.Praise God in the highest!

In my life, I have only had God speak to me one time, verbally.
His words, as loud, and sure as one speaking behind me, said in reply to my thoughts of,"I'll go around!" were," No! Go Through!
The road ahead of me ,and my friend Carol, was full of chuck holes, and ruts from the winter run off, I obeyed, forcing Carol to go through also.
As we did, a car came speeding up the hill, and past us.
Had we gone around, we would have been hit,head on.
I have never heard a clear voice like that since, but have known promptings of his spirit, message in a dream, and mostly through reading his word, and also a vision. Only one.
I often wonder how God speaks to others, and would like to hear from them.
Seems in my life, anyway, he never does it the same way twice.
And I believe that is his nature, for even in his day, he healed many, but always differently.
Our Pastor has explained the reason for that may be, we as humans would try to make a religion out of it otherwise........you know, the Mudites, the spitites, etc.

I had a most profound experience with this.

I had given my heart to Jesus in 71 when I was just a young teenager. Yet I had no discipleship and there was no growth in my walk. I continued on as a child does but I knew I was born again. For 17 years I lived without much change in my life due to lack of getting in the word, or living for God instead of myself. I was saved and that as all that mattered at that time.

In 1988 my life was not going so well. I was on the verge of making a decision to just end the misery of living when God began to move on my behalf. I became rather introspective and began to question my reason for living. I knew from my environment that nobody was really happy so what was the use of living anyway.
I believe it was God that was directing my thoughts that day because he was wanting to show me something , and He did. He sent an angel to me in the form of a man to direct me back to Jesus. After this happened and I had seen God move, I decided to seek out a revival.

My former experience with revival meetings; the Holy Spirit fire, was what I had determined to find. For a few weeks I would get up and head to a church seeking a revival. If I didn't find one Id move on to the next church the next Sunday. Then it happened...


I was on my way to a particular church I had picked out of the phone book and headed out. I came to a four way stop light and saw a church on the corner. The voice inside me said " why not just try that one instead ". So I went in and sat in the back row. The service began with wonderful worship and I was drawn in because of my love of music. It was very good and then.. in front of me and to my left, a women began to speak in tongues. The still small voice said to me " Listen this is for you", so I listened very carefully. The women spoke and then it stopped. I had no idea what was said but i heard that still small voice again that said " Listen, this is for you". So I waited and listened. Just then another lady in a row ahead of me began to speak in english and I could understand her. She said " Seek not revival for it comes from within."

I began to cry......

I knew, there was no shades of doubt at all, that God had just spoken to me through his servant. I knew because only God knew I was seeking a revival. Only God knew that the revival I sought was not in a building.. the revival I needed was one of the heart.

I rededicated my life to God that day and Jesus has been not only my saviour, he is now my Lord.

Awesome account, and I am so thankful for Gods faithfulness in my children lives.
We still need his sanctifying grace, each day, and know he will see us through. :friends: Its all about him, to his honor, and his glory.
It is wonderful to see, God still moves in the heart of man, even today in this darken world. Praise God.

Mrs. Davis isn't it great that God knows exactly how to touch our needs and give us peace within.

Only God knew and yet He gave you a confirmation. God know exactly how to touch one's heart.
