This is a poll for honest emotions of how you feel when you are at Talk Jesus. Do you feel that Talk Jesus is annointed with the Holy Spirit and that He is here giving testimony of Jesus, guiding and comforting those who come here seeking fellowship and understanding of Jesus Christ?

I know from the 3 years I have been here that the Holy Spirit is here and many have been blessed, glory to GOD! Many have been saved and accepted Jesus Christ, built up there faith and have grown (I being one myself have grown in my faith and knowledge of the Word).

Do you feel the presence of GOD here? Please share your sincere thoughts and try to not let your own flesh speak but let the Spirit convict. What is it that you like or dislike?

God bless you and thank you for voting!

Hello Chad,

I really don't know what to say. I know it was not by chance that I was led here. I was just looking for anyone to talked to who were Christians. I just did "Google" search and I was brought here. I have been here only three months and feels like I have always known you all.

Do I feel the presence of GOD here? I most definitely I do. The Lord has not just used this site just for the fellowship for me. I have been blessed, encouraged and in a way healed (in my heart that is). I have learned so much and have felt so much love. I can't help but praise God for His goodness, mercy and grace.

God bless you Chad. God bless the Moderators and also all the TJ family. I love you all very much.

Love,
Snowrose

I voted not sure, this is not because I don't believe in Talk Jesus, it's because some days I feel a strong presence of the Holy Spirit and other days I feel no presence at all. I feel a presence with God everyday, but not always on the tj forums, especially when there are threads where people debate a subject or give their opinions on something, reading through it makes me feel uneasy and then I switch off tj for a few hours or so. I'm not saying this is always the case, and it is only my perception and opinion.

I will pray though that God will be in our presence on a daily basis on TalkJesus

I have just been trying to trace how long I have been visiting "talk Jesus" but cannot find it. The days, months pass so quickly.

My presence here is the result of some Christian Brother/Sister wanting to bless me, and so giving me the web address.

The reason I have kept visiting since that time of that intro., is because I enjoy talking about Jesus.

I have been impressed by the discipline and the high standard of talk Jesus.
Please use proper paragraphing structure. Do not post long paragraphs.[/I]..........and the rest.......

I enjoy reading the 'Devotionals' and have been pleased when I too have been able to put together a devotion, or an article which will bless. Perhaps I could here thank those who responded at times with appreciation.
I appreciate other posters too. I have been blessed by many articles.

I do enjoy the respect shown to posters on 'talk Jesus' it is not so on other popular Christian sites.

Thankyou Brother Chad for the 'talk Jesus' web site. It cannot but continue to prosper...........because JESUS is being lifted up

In His Love and Victory

Amen brother Stephen. By the way, you joined in January 2006 :)

God bless you

Hi Chad,

This is my second favourite website. The first is my hubby's egyptology website but then I have to say that, don't I! I am very fond of the journal part of the website, I like the smilies but I think some may get used more than others, I wonder if the choice could be refreshed again please. The 'what's going' on parts of the site are useful. You have successfully created a church like fellowship and a friendly/intellectual type atmosphere that seems to appeal to all ages and stages of Christian. As this is a non-denominational website I expect that there will be slightly different views on certain subjects but it all adds to the interest of diversity.

Although I can touch type I am fairly useless when it comes to computers. However, your site looks neat, well presented and user friendly. I have become fairly familiar with the format but still have not tried everything the site has to offer, even though I have been a member for some time.
If it is any use my hubby who isn't a member says from a programmer's perspective it looks 'slick'. Which is quite a compliment considering how derisory he is about most sites!

On a more personal note I would like to say a big THANK TO YOU TJ or more specifically everyone who makes this site so spirit filled. It has helped me explore, analyse, and understand things on my own journey much better. I'd like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to you Chad for pulling it all together.
God Bless
Eve X

I voted not sure, but I am sure, however my answer cannot be given with a definite yes or no so that was the only other option.

sometimes.

We will never *always* feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives generally speaking (whether in church, forum or in fellowship with others). The two obvious reasons are

1. Our sins (this is broad, but you get the idea)
2. GOD testing our faith

Let us all remember this simple truth. Also, keep this in mind

Hebrews 13:5
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

Amen to that :)

There are good people commenting here about whether or not they are concious of the Holy Spirit, when they visit talkjesus.com

I hear what they are saying.......that is I hear their heart.
We all desire to hear.....be aware of the Holy Spirit.......but we do not always hear, or are we always aware of the Holy Spirit. Why is this we may ask ourselves.

My answer would be that we.......like the folks in the bible......we are human. We could read the bible only to find that it is of no help..........and why.......we have to wait in His presence.......1....2 hours......it would vary.......but I have to wait to hear, to feel that He is there.

I read the post's made by people who want to help, to minister,.....to bless us....I read, I take the post in my heart....I meditate upon what I have read.....I wait upon Him.....yes even going about my business during the day.....

This is the Christian Life, this is living for Jesus.

I have waited awhile to post here...because I wasn't quite sure how to say this. In Sunday School this morning, I got my answer The teacher had 3 different people read scripts and we were supposed to tell the first thing that popped into our mind. The first lady read, "I have lung cancer." Most people's response was, "Oh, you must have smoked alot." Then the reader continued: "I have never smoked." The second reader had cyrrosis of the liver, and the 3rd reader said she was in prison convicted for murder. (It turned out that she was falsely convicted---once she was allowed to finish reading, and she was freed from prison.

This has happened to me in real life alot--christians judge me before they've heard all the facts. Instead of listening, christians often jump to a conclusion right away... This even happens at talkJesus sometimes. At times, if the person would just listen for one more minute and let me tell "The Rest of The Story", it might make more sense to them, and they might not have so much room to judge.

I do feel the presence of God here much of the time. This is a wonderful website, and it's my favorite...but it's just like a church. We are full of imperfect people (like me) and we fall short sometimes. But I am truly thankful for talkJesus.

Great sincere response sister Dreamer. Thank you for sharing that. I understand how you feel and I admit I may be a good example of one who doesn't wait for the rest of the story, but I've learned by GOD's grace.

Some things we should keep in mind when communicating online, like this forum

1. The poster should be as clear, detailed and precise in their responses as possible

2. The reader should remember that online text is basically one tone, monotone and limited in how personal you can feel a person's thoughts. It lacks voice or face to face communication.

God bless :)

I voted yes, because I can feel the love of Christ centered people that come here and share their love of Christ.

We will never completely agree on everything, but, with the Love of Christ in our hearts we will always agree that Salvation comes from Christ on the cross.

Much teaching goes on here and thus, much learning. I would like to Thank Chad for TJ. I know I will grow here and appreciate all the scripture that will help me do that.

God bless you sister and thank you for your kind words.

I would like to personally thank all my moderators, past and present for helping me serve the Lord here for His glory and the sake of us believers who need a great place to fellowship.

Thank you also for all of the members here, brothers/sisters in Christ. The BODY of CHRIST :)

Hi all

I think it's great here! before I began interacting and posting some of my thoughts I just checked out the site first to discern if this site was where God lead me to, and obviously I'm still here so I feel the Holy Spirit is definitley here.

Although I do feel that some people (in reading several of their posts) have alterior motives, in that they ask leading questions of which they already have the answer to, just to argue their case. To me this has nothing to do with Glorifying Jesus Name. It concerns me that some people maybe here to cause conflict, but maybe on the other hand, even if they're here for alterior reasons, God intended it for us to pray for them; after all we are meant to reach out to the lost.

Anyway, whatever the case may be, this is a great site! to learn, to share & to get inspired.

Godbless

I couldn't have said it better. Praise the Lord! GOD is with us, not against us. He is for us and wants to bless us. If we welcome Him in, He is there and we are in His presence!

Often when I read some of these posts I have a sense of what must be said in response to them. NOT what I must say but what must be said. I have always acknowledged that and written what I have been led to write. I believe that is the Spirit leading me.

I do not always experience this with every post.

Yes I do Feel the presence of God here!

I am so thankful for the fellowship here

Thank you Chad for you leadership and to the moderators for keeping this a Godly site

Just new...

I am just discerning and going on viewing and replying...I need bit more time to make a judgement. If I am enjoying peace and serenity I am sure it is beign led by the Holy Spirit.
