Homosexuality - When discussing homosexuality, the biblical emphasis is on behavior and the verdict is always that it is sinful.
Paul argues in Romans 1:18-32 that homosexuality is one consequence of rejecting God as creator and his created order. Paul indicates that both male and female homosexuality result from a denial of God.
In 1 Cor, 6:9-11 the practice of it appears in a similar vice list and Paul comments that anyone who continues in these sins will not inherit the kingdom of God. Arsenokoites refers to the active (dominant) partner in the homosexual act. However, in addition to homosexuals, Paul adds a second word "effeminate" or malakoi the passive member of the relationship.
In the ancient Greco Roman context, these terms for the passive and active partner refer to the cultural practice in the ancient world where one's slaves were often sexual exploited, while others were a consensual relationship between two people.
While scripture identifies homosexual acts as sinful those who repent and receive the same cleansing sanctification and justification as every other believer who turns from sin to Christ.
No need for a lengthy discussion. This is further backed by Creation in which He created and set the standard for the human race.
Man and woman. Male and female. Sex and gender are inherent and match.
Heterosexuality is the ONLY approved relationship resulting in a optimally God centered life, marriage, and children, then repeat.
There is no excuse or reason for supporting it. Even if your lover, spouse, child, etc, "comes out" and claims "I was born this way." (No evidence for such lunacy.
God will not give way for you, me, or someone else b/c of them. In fact, you don't own them. As God is our Creator, Father, and Authority He owns everything.
