I will cut right to the point
I come from a mennonite family who does not believe that a person has the right to say they are saved. "That is up to God to descide" they say.
The problem I have with that is it is false, and every time I bring it up they say "it says you shall be saved, not you are saved." I read somewhere in Ephesians where it says " It is by grace that ye are saved, not by works, lest any man should boast." So to me that is pretty much clear as day. But I need a bit of advise on how to go about this, and show my family that this is the truth. I fear that if a person doesn't beleive they are saved, then they don't beleive in the saving power of Jesus and thus might even be lost.
Any advice would be appreciated
God Bless
