How can someone tell if they love or hate Jesus?

How can someone tell if they love or hate Jesus? A question I ask myself a lot latlety, just because I want to know what's needed of us if we want to give Jesus our love/respect.

Do we show our love by knowing God exist? Do we show our love by obeying the things God/Jesus taught?

I would like to know how you guys feel, so maybe I can have some new thoughts come to my mind.

its best if you read the bible everyday and learn the bible . but Jesus gave two commandments that sum everything up.
1. Love God with all your heart might and soul
2. Love your neighbor as yourself

James 2:8
If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.


John 15:12
“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

Luke 10:27
And he answered, "YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND; AND YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."

36 “Teacher, what is the most important commandment in the Law?”


37 Jesus answered:

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. 38 This is the first and most important commandment. 39 The second most important commandment is like this one. And it is, “Love others as much as you love yourself.” 40 All the Law of Moses and the Books of the Prophets[a] are based on these two commandments.

There is no such thing as a person who does not love themselves...Love others the same way.
